Angus has over 18 years experience in the property industry. Particular expertise includes property investment and development, with additional strengths in business strategy and marketing.

From 2005 to 2009, Angus held the position of General Manager - Property for IFC Capital Limited, a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. The company held investments in infrastructure projects, property development projects and strategic investments in small to medium sized companies. Angus had the overall responsibility for property and development related operations of the company.

Angus was the Development Manager at Walter Construction Group (formerly Concrete Constructions), which was one of Australia’s leading construction and engineering firms. Angus’ responsibilities included new business development, development of business strategy and marketing, project identification and negotiation, establishment of joint ventures, feasibility studies, preparation of briefs and investment reports, liaison and negotiation with statutory authorities, securing project approvals, negotiating and securing finance facilities, engagement and management of sales and marketing teams, legal and design consultants and management of builders.

From 1993 to 2000, Angus operated in the Valuation & Advisory Services Department of CB Richard Ellis, rising to the role of Associate Director. CBRE is one of the world’s leading integrated commercial real estate services companies. Angus’ responsibilities included new business development, general practice valuations including commercial, industrial, retail and residential premises, and valuation and advisory services relating to development projects. Angus specialised in feasibility/sensitivity analysis, financial modeling and site valuation analysis, particularly in reference to medium to large-scale development projects.
